After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty.
After connecting to a Passpoint network on macOS, the SSID field is displayed as empty. Bugs ? Passpoint connections are established and function correctly, with network communication unimpeded. However, a display issue where the SSID field is blank is present on macOS versions 13 through 15 inclusive. This issue persists even when utilizing connection profiles created with Apple Configurator. Help me. Thks

iOS 26 : iPhone 16 Pro not charging via USB-C
Hello, I installed iOS 26 beta 1 yesterday when it came off but now, when I plug my iPhone, it just do nothing. I can charge it via the induction charger but I can't via USB-C port. The other way I can charge it is by turning my iPhone off and plugging it so it starts and then it charges via USB-C Port even when it starts. The thing is that when I unplug the cable and try to plug it back in, it doesn't charge anymore... I tried to put the restore mode (with the Mac and the cable on the screen) and even the DFU Mode but the iPhone is not detected by my Macbook and it's the same thing for my Windows PC : not detected... I also tried to erase the settings and content but same issue... Not charging Apple Store can do nothing because it's a dev beta... Am I the only one to have that issue ?

AR WorldMap Relocalization for Identical houses.
i have a specific requirement as below. i have apartments in which i have 4 units and each unit will be of same layout. furniture etc.. might change but not walls and layout as far as i know. Step1: Now i will enter into one unit, scan the entire unit and save it using RoomPlan Api and at the end of the scan i will be saving the worldmap as well. Step2: i want to use the previously saved worldmap and enter into another unit and want to relocalize with only walls because the furniture might be different. is that possible. if not is there any otherway to achieve this functionality? i really appreciate you valuable time. Apple Developer Enrollment
Hello, I am trying to enroll to apple developer program as solo developer. While trying to enroll via app my passport and drivers license are not validated. When trying to enroll via web, I fill in the details and try to make the payment, but payment itself is not deducted from my bank account. I receive email that payment is being processed, but nothing further happens.

Joining developer program
Hi everyone, It’s been almost three weeks, and I’m still waiting for a reply about my subscription to the Apple Developer Program, but I haven’t received anything. I replied to the email three days ago and got no response. I tried again by requesting the subscription two days ago, but all I received was an automated message saying they would reply within two business days. What I did exactly: I went to my Apple Developer account, clicked on Subscriptions, and entered my card details. They sent me an email saying they are preparing my order, but nothing else. Has anyone else had the same issue with Apple Developer support? Regards,

BLE ADVERTISE
Dear Apple: The program we developed uses BLE broadcasting to discover devices. The discovered device sends three broadcasts, but when we debug the program, we found that the addresses reported by centralManager::didDiscoverPeripheral for the same device's three broadcasts are actually different CBPeripheral * addresses. I would like to ask how we can identify that these three broadcasts are from the same device? Are there any variables in the peripheral that can identify it as the same device? Thanks。

Hello, We are developing a social media application that allows users to share and view content in the form of images and videos. The app is built with Angular and Ionic, and we use Capacitor to integrate native functionalities. Currently, we are experiencing an issue with content loading on iOS devices. Specifically, when the iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi, videos load quickly and play smoothly. However, when using mobile data, videos take a long time to load or, in some cases, do not load at all. We are trying to identify the cause of the issue and determine whether it could be related to Xcode configuration or any system restrictions. Some potential reasons we have considered include: iOS Mobile Data Usage Restrictions iOS may limit mobile data usage for large downloads or streaming content if the app does not have the proper permissions. In Settings > Mobile Data, users can restrict data usage for specific apps. App Transport Security (ATS) Configuration Xcode and iOS enforce strict security policies for network connections through App Transport Security (ATS). If the API serving the videos uses HTTP instead of HTTPS or has restrictive headers, this could affect loading over mobile networks. Xcode Network Usage Settings Xcode allows configurations related to network access. There might be a setting limiting access to mobile networks when the device is not on Wi-Fi. Video Quality and Adaptability Differences If videos are not optimized for mobile networks (e.g., high-quality formats without adaptive versions), loading times could be significantly longer. Implementing HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) could improve playback on slower networks. Request Timeout Issues If video loading requests have a short timeout, slower mobile network connections might exceed this limit, causing the request to fail. HomeKit
March 2025. I’ve reached a point where so much about the Apple ecosystem is broken that I have stopped caring. My lights stopped working properly in HomeKit shortly after the last update. They work in the Wiz native app but not HomeKit. Device automations are now spotting and random; bad when they are alarms. When Apple was less, it was more. I have an iPhone 12 and see no reason to upgrade. Why pay a premium for suboptimal products and services. Anyone notice that calls to Apple Support are now fielded by non-professionals? I’ve asked. Just random applicants, typing my question(s) into Safari for solutions. No idea why government is getting cut when private is t any better. Humans are on a downward slope.

DeviceActivityEvent will still execute even if the app is not in use
I use DeviceActivityCenter to monitor app usage. macOS 15.4 Beta (24E5222f) Killed My External Displays – Send Help (or an Exorcist)
For 9 Glorious Months, My MacBook Pro &amp; J5 Create JCD543 HUB Were Best Friends… Until I Updated macOS For nearly a year, my MacBook Pro 14” (2023, M2 Pro, 16GB RAM) worked flawlessly with my J5 Create JCD543 HUB, allowing me to run: ✅ 4 External Displays (Samsung, LG, Insignia, Samsung) A setup that worked perfectly… until I updated macOS. Then Came the Update… and the Issues Began First, I updated last week. Two of my four displays stopped working. No big deal, I thought—I’ve dealt with display quirks before. Then, like an optimist ignoring red flags, I updated again last night to 15.4 Beta (24E5222f) and… well, now things are completely broken. My Once-Perfect Setup (Now a Display Disaster) JCD543 HUB → 2 HDMI displays (not working) JUD380 HUB → 1 HDMI display (partially working, unstable) MacBook HDMI port → 1 HDMI display (working, but feeling abandoned) JCA365 USB-C to Dual HDMI Adapter (Not part of my setup, but tested—also not working) What I’ve Tried (aka My Troubleshooting Journey) ✔ Restarted my Mac multiple times ✔ Uninstalled and reinstalled J5 drivers ✔ Swapped cables, unplugged/replugged everything, tested known-working HDMI cables (they work fine on other devices) ✔ Deleted /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver.displays.plist (this fixed a similar issue in the past, but the file no longer exists in this update) The Likely Culprit? It seems to be a J5 driver issue triggered by the macOS update—and I’m not alone. Others are reporting similar problems. Apple… Any Fixes? I just want my four screens back. The setup worked flawlessly for 9 months, so it’s hard to believe it was never meant to work. If anyone has a workaround, I’m open to testing any solution—whether it’s a driver update, system tweak, or hidden macOS setting that might bring my displays back to life. Clearing an app’s memory, data etc.
My app works perfectly the first time it is used but when returning to the start after playing the game and playing another it does some random things. I figure it is because the app still retains the previous game in it’s memory allocation? My question is, what is the best way programmatically to have an app start fresh and not have to quit it and open it again?

I will give some suggestions and action buttons about dynamic islands on iPhonesAfter dragging and dropping an application or file on dynamic islands, when I switch to any application or site, I can switch to that file or application by holding down the Dynamic Island As for the action button, we can assign features to the action button. A feature like this can come to it. When we press it twice, it will open the camera, when we press it once, it will open the flash. If such a feature comes, it will be easier to use

Download and Store Custom Notification Sound for Playback in All App States (Foreground, Background, and Terminated)
I want to implement a feature where a custom notification sound file is downloaded from the server when the app is first launched and stored locally on the device. When a push notification arrives, the stored sound should be played in all app states, including foreground, background, and terminated (killed) state. Does anyone have an idea on how to implement this in iOS? Specifically, I am looking for guidance on: 1)Downloading and storing the sound file securely on the device. 2)Using the locally stored file for push notification sounds. 3)Ensuring the sound plays correctly in all states, including when the app is not running.

Edit Permissions | bootps.plist
Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to edit the bootps.plist which is in the system / library directory. I have an M4 MacBook running OS 15.3.2 and I've held down the power button to go into recovery mode, and in terminal entered the 'csrutil disable' command and have restarted but when I go back to 'get info - Sharing & Permissions' I can't change any of the permissions. I need to be able to edit this file to create DHCP server. How can I change edit permissions on the bootps.plist?

No such module 'UnityFramework' ,Getting this message updating Xcode to latest version
After the update of the Xcode to latest version, I’m getting “No Such Module Unity Framework” as error. the complete information is below. I had to update the Xcode and the O.S as per the Apple Requirement from my older version of 14.x to latest 16.3. I had no issued running the Unity within my iOS App till the recent update. Previous Setup: Unity was successfully integrated into this iOS app and running fine before the update. As it was working till the Xcode version 14.3, i have not changed any code relevant to Unity. What I’ve Tried: a. Added UnityFramework.framework to “Link Binary with Libraries” and marked it as “Embed & Sign”. b. Verified Framework Search Paths include $(PROJECT_DIR)/UnityProject/build/Debug-iphoneos c. Cleaned build folder, deleted Derived Data d. Checked [CP] Embed Pods Frameworks step in Build Phases Stuck On: Xcode still throws "No such module 'UnityFramework'" — it’s as if the framework isn’t being built or seen from my main project. Request for Help: Has anyone encountered this issue post-Xcode 16.3 update from 14.x. I’d really appreciate any guidance, updated workflows, or even a checklist of steps for properly integrating Unity into an existing iOS app with the new Xcode build system.

Very strange behavoir of Safari.app, Notes.app on MacBook Pro
Is there a way to check whether third-party code can be inserted into parts of the ARM CPU architecture from outside? I have the paranoid impression that my MacBook Pro, M2 processor is being manipulated from outside. For example: Safari, when opened, displays pages scaled down without my conscious intervention, when clicked on the original size it scales back to normal for a short time and then implodes again; I use the navigation bar on the left excessively, it is my most important tool in Safari, today it was impossible to insert a link using drag & drop, the bar scrolls up or down very quickly; a behavior that I only know from Intel processors. For example, notes, I encrypted an important note, no problem even though photos and links are inserted, yesterday I could no longer open the note, neither on the MacBook Pro nor on the iPhone. When opening the notes app in the terminal on the MacBook Pro, an EXEC_CRASH report was generated. I have a terrible suspicion that the Apple branch in Munich is tampering with the devices and software of users in Germany. Sorry, I'm a big fan of Apple and its products, but this is very spooky. I just wanted to share my distrust with you!
