I submitted a mac app for Notarization.
For the first few tries the Notarization failed with an error "Team is not yet configured for Notarization" but few days after my account started to show "ENROLL" option again even though my membership was set to expire on 2026.
I am doubting my account has been suspended.
I have not received any emails from apple regarding the suspension.
I have contacted support but no help yet !
This was the second year, i was paying for the membership.

I recently had to update my certificates for a project. I deleted a few old ones, and I currently have one Development certificate. I needed to create another Development certificate specifically, it's saying "Maximum number of certificates generated." I thought the maximum was two Development certificates? Has anyone else had this issue? Thinking it could be a stuck workflow or something like that.

Hi everyone,
After I recently changed my Apple ID (iCloud) password, my Developer ID certificate stopped working for signing macOS apps.
Symptoms:
Signing fails with the Developer ID certificate that was previously working fine.
I tried re-downloading the certificate from my Apple Developer account and importing it into the Keychain, but the issue persists.
It seems that the Developer ID identity is no longer trusted or properly linked to my system since the password change.
Attempts:
Re-downloaded and installed the certificate from the developer portal.
Verified that the private key is present and linked.
Checked keychain access and code-signing identity — everything appears normal, but the signed apps are rejected or the signing process fails.
Blocking issue:
I am unable to delete or revoke the Developer ID certificate on my account (Apple Support says it's not possible).
Also, I can't create a new one due to the certificate limit.
Questions:
Is it expected for a Developer ID certificate to become invalid after changing the Apple ID password?
Is there a recommended way to refresh or restore the certificate trust on macOS?
How can I invalidate the current certificate and generate a new one if I'm stuck?
Any insights or official guidance would be really appreciated.

I will post my app xyz.app uses XY swift package
this swift package is a wrapper for XYSDK.xcframework
XYSDK.xcframework written in c++ and app running on arm64 macos and iphones succesfully.
I got this error when i want to distribute it.
Currently i sign .framework for ios with Apple Distribution Certificate
and same certificate for macos framework there is no other signing step for swift package or xcframework
other than that when i want to archive it validates succesfully.
Exporting step shows that app has signed, has provisining profile.
but .framework is only signed has no provisioning profile.
Also one point i see:
i have one target named xyz and its Frameworks, Lİbraries and Embedded Context has only XY package but Embed part has no option like embed and sign etc. Blank.
I need more info about what am i doing wrong in which step ?
I am stuck and can not move any further like weeks

I have recently enrolled in the Apple Developer to get my app notarized, and submitted an Archive for notarization, but it is taking forever. It has almost been a whole day, but the status is still in progress, whereas I have seen other developers say that the same takes 10-15 mins to an hour for them. Am I doing anything wrong? Please guide me through this.

I have an app that runs as a status bar app, mostly. I have set the following in the info.plist file for the app:

However, I get a compile error:
Provisioning profile Mac Team Provisioning Profile: yout.Drive doesn't include the Application is agent (UIElement) entitlement.
Checking the entitlements, I do not see this entitlement anywhere. Where and how do I set this?
I’m running into an issue where the com.apple.developer.storekit entitlement is not being included in provisioning profiles, even though my App ID is properly configured for In-App Purchase.

Capability: In-App Purchase is enabled in the Apple Developer Portal and shows as “Enabled.”
What I’ve tried:

Waited several hours for possible propagation.

Hello,
Recently our team requested the "Notification (NSE) filtering" capability. Our request was rejected but we sent a new request with a more detailed explanation of our need.
However if we go check the status of the request in the Capability Requests tab the status is "No requests". We sent the new request yesterday.
Is it even possible to request a capability after a rejected request? We really need the capability and the absence of it is blocking our progress.

Hello everyone,
I'm hoping to find a solution for a critical issue that is blocking my app's submission to the App Store.
My app uses the Screen Time API and therefore has a main app and a DeviceActivityMonitor extension.
The main app has been successfully granted the Family Controls (Distribution) entitlement. However, the DeviceActivityMonitor extension is stuck with only the Family Controls (Development) entitlement.
This mismatch causes my build to fail during the archive/distribution process with the error:
"Provisioning profile failed qualification. Profile doesn't support Family Controls (Development)."
This is a hard blocker, as the extension is a mandatory part of the API. I have already filled out the entitlement request form and also contacted Developer Support (Case #102666581576), who confirmed they could not assist and directed me here.
My question is:
What is the correct procedure to escalate or resolve the issue of a required extension not receiving the distribution-level Family Controls entitlement after the main app has already been approved?
Has anyone else encountered this specific "Development" vs. "Distribution" mismatch and found a definitive way to resolve it? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I'm currently developing an iOS app that uses SensorKit.
Everything works fine in development and testing — the app correctly requests and receives SensorKit permissions on test devices.
In my App ID configuration, the SensorKit Reader Access entitlement (com.apple.developer.sensorkit.reader.allow) is included and visible in Xcode under the project’s entitlements list.
However, when I try to archive and distribute the app, I get the following errors in Xcode:

Profile doesn't support SensorKit Reader Access.

Even though my provisioning profile includes this entitlement, Xcode still refuses to distribute the app.
Here’s what I’ve confirmed so far:
The provisioning profile lists com.apple.developer.sensorkit.reader.allow in its entitlements.
SensorKit works perfectly in debug and development builds.
The issue only occurs when attempting to distribute (Archive → Distribute App).
Could this be because my account has only development entitlement for SensorKit and not the distribution entitlement?
If so, how can I verify or request the proper distribution entitlement for SensorKit Reader Access?

Xcode automatic signing consistently fails for the macOS target when adding the App Groups capability, even though the Developer Portal is correctly configured.
Error:
Provisioning profile “Mac Team Provisioning Profile: com.example.testapp.mobile” doesn’t support the App Groups capability.
Setup:
• Bundle ID: com.example.testapp.mobile
• App Group: $(TeamIdentifierPrefix)group.com.example.testapp.mobile
Troubleshooting Steps Tried (None Helped):
• Changed bundle identifiers and deleted/recreated them in the Developer Portal
• Deleted and recreated App Groups
• Removed and re-added the developer account in Xcode
• Deleted all provisioning profiles from the system
• Cleared Derived Data and Xcode caches
• Even tried on a clean macOS system
This setup used to work previously. The issue seems to have started after the Apple Developer account was renewed.

I'm trying to notarize an application for the first time & it's stuck for more than 24 hours now. I ended up submitting the same app more than 5 times, but all are stuck in waiting state.
There is no visibility into what's happening & whenever i check the status it just shows as "In Progress".
How can i expedite this process ?

I recently had my Electron app notarized by Apple and then performed the following steps:
Stapling the Notarization Ticket:
xcrun stapler staple "appPath/Aiparalegal.app"
Zipping the App for Distribution:
ditto -c -k --keepParent "appPath/Aiparalegal.app" theAIParalegal.zip
However, after unzipping and attempting to launch the app, macOS displays the following message:
Apple could not verify "theAIParalegal" is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy.
Yet, when I run validation using:
xcrun stapler validate "theAIParalegal.app"
I receive confirmation:
The validate action worked!
I then tried restarting my computer but the problem persist
Could you help me understand why the notarization validation appears successful, yet macOS still displays this security warning? Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

I've already read through the Notarization and Gatekeeper documentation.
The installed version of our application is 1.2.3, located in /Applications/XYZSecurity.app.
We created an upgrade package for version 1.2.4. As part of the pre-install script in the 1.2.4 installer, we explicitly deleted some obsolete .dylib files from /Applications/XYZSecurity.app/Contents/Frameworks and some executable files from
/Applications/XYZSecurity.app/Contents/MacOS that were no longer needed in version 1.2.4.
The installation of version 1.2.4 completed successfully, but we see the below error logs in installer.log:

Currently we are in a process of migrating our Qt application for MAC OS - ventura -v13.4.
There is a specific feature in our application in which client tries to communicate with server (Socket communication) using Qt's QsslSocket Apis . To achieve this we are using self signed Ca certificate (.pem ) generated by using openSSl commands which uses IP address of the server.
We are manually installing the certificate inside MAC OS - keychain and trusting it manually as well after installing .
This is working fine in XCode environment in debug mode in MAC OS and client -server handshake is happening successfully. How ever after creating .dmg file (installer) the same handshake is not happening and we are getting error -Connection time out.
Upon investigating this online, we got to know there has to be codesigning (both app bundle and the dmg file )along with notarization of the .dmg file in order to access keychain of MAC OS at runtime to access the self signed certificate installed.
Now we have 2 queries here.
Is code signing mandatory if we want to verify our app through keychain with .dmg file ?
If yes, whats the best way to achieve this ?
We have tried 2 options without any luck.
option1 - Trying to build our specific target among 'ALL_BUILD' with signing key settings inside xcode where we are providing developer provisional certificate with apple team ID . After that we are trying to archive to generate dmg file which is code signed.
We are failing here as the signed dmg is not getting installed due to other app related dependencies are missing .
option 2- Code signing the dmg and the app bundle manually outside the environment of xcode with developer certificate and team ID.
We are failing here as notarization needs to be done it seems to access keychain for certificate verification
If Code signing is not mandatory then whats the best possible way to achieve this considering manually installation of certificate inside keychain with adding trust option is not working at the moment.
Please specify the best solution if possible.

I'm attempting to upload an updated version of our macOS app for distribution via the App Store. We've done this without issue before, but I am now receiving a warning when I upload the app via Transporter:
"Cannot be used with TestFlight because the signature for the bundle at “AXON Studio.app” is missing an application identifier but has an application identifier in the provisioning profile for the bundle. Bundles with application identifiers in the provisioning profile are expected to have the same identifier signed into the bundle in order to be eligible for TestFlight." (90886)
I just recently started seeing this warning when I upload our application via Transporter. Before this warning started happening, I was using the exact same process and scripts to build/package/codesign our application. NOTE: we are not using Xcode to build our application, so we can't take advantage of any codesigning/packaging automation provided by Xcode (the app is written in C#/.NET 6.0), so we are doing all build/package/codesign steps using the appropriate macOS command line utilities. Also, I have verified that the app bundle and its contents have valid signatures.
Does anyone have any idea what may have changed to cause this warning, or how I might go about determining the root cause so I can fix it?

I am trying to generate an .ipa file for my .NET MAUI (net9.0-ios) application, but every attempt fails with the same codesigning error. I have tried multiple approaches, including building from Windows paired to macOS, and directly building through the macOS terminal, but nothing is working.
Below are the exact steps I followed:
Steps I Performed
1.>Generated the Apple Development certificate using Keychain Access on macOS.
2.>Added that certificate into my developer account and created the corresponding provisioning profile.
3.>Created an App ID, attached the App ID to the provisioning profile, and downloaded it.
4.>Added the provisioning profile into Xcode.
Verified that the certificate is correctly visible in Keychain Access (private key available).
Attempted to build/publish the MAUI app to generate the .ipa file.

Whenever I run the publish command or build via Windows/macOS, codesigning fails with the following error:

What I suspect
It looks like the signer certificate might not be trusted, or the certificate chain cannot connect to an Apple root CA. But the certificate was created using the Developer website and appears valid.
Need Help With
Why is codesign unable to build the certificate chain?
Do I need a different type of certificate? (App Store / Distribution vs Development?)
How can I successfully generate the .ipa file?
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
