I am testing stuff on a website, and it worked well on any mobile browser till iOS18.
Now that I am testing iOS26, even with the latest BETA (3)
everything works smoothly on any other mobile browser but Safari.
Previously I had the bug, which now has been patched, for status-bar, which was flickering too, but popover and page issue seems still there.
I have persistent popover and ajax navigation, and both are rendering with bugs and fouc while view/page changes.
Example: If I have an element which must stay on its place and its width is 100vw: while page changes it blinks, shrinks, flicker and jumps on rendering, while it simply must stay as is..
Animations and page transitions work smoothly on Chrome mobile (latest iOS 26 beta 3) , while breaking on Safari.
I did open a feedback FB18328720, but seems no one caring.
Any idea guys?

We're embedding the Power BI reports into our portal by using JS library. While testing them, we found that mobile layout of the reports don't work as we expect on iOS devices (tested in Chrome and Safari). There are two principals issues: 1) the site is automatically refreshed when the users filter the data (we reduced them to lower expression) and 2) the site also crashes after a while using the dashboard by applying different filters.
Hey,
very strange problem I have on iOS when shared web as an app (pwa) to home screen.
Whenever I use it via safari browser on iPhone, it works 100% fine every time. However, when I put it as an app on home screen, first time I open it it works fine, when i close it and reopen again, it just doesnt start recording. I have to restart my phone for it to work. So it works one time, I guess somehow it doesnt end stream or something, but in code I've tried all the possible ways to close and clean the track. tried GPT, Claude, Gemini solutions. nothing worked, it just works 1 time as PWA. my last hope is someone else encountered this issue and may try to help me ?

Our app is an enterprise app via MDM.
We are experiencing an issue in iPadOS 18.4 when loading an internal HTTPS server via WKWebView in a hybrid iOS app.
Our server uses a self-signed certificate but lacks the digitalSignature usage in its Key Usage extension. (Currently we have no chance to change the server's certificate)
We override webView:didReceiveAuthenticationChallenge:completionHandler: to trust the certificate:
completionHandler(NSURLSessionAuthChallengeUseCredential, credential);
This "completionHandler" works in previous 18.3.2 , but not work in 18.4. May I know is there any changes in 18.4 for the https certification? Why this delegate not work? What we can do to ignore this ssl error and get connection?
Thanks in advance, look forward for your reply.
Our UI-less share extension (com.apple.services) appears in Safari and Chrome. We raise a popup "Open in (app)..." via the Action.js script document.location.href = urlScheme://... in Safari.
However, in Chrome, while our extension executes, parses the URL item attachment from Chrome, it never triggers that popup or opens our app.
How can a UI-less share extension open our app from Chrome?
Is the accepted practice, despite guidelines, turning the com.apple.ui-services view controller invisible and auto-openURLing? Several apps on the store appear to do this, immediately popping their app without any confirmation dialog or UI in both Safari and Chrome. https://stackoverflow.com/a/79369242
I have multiple web views of the same domain that share the same local storage, as expected.
One of them though, is loading a .webarchive file.
The web archive is of the same domain, and is loaded using the same base URL.
For some reason, in most cases, the local storage is not shared with this web view when loading the web archive, although if I make that same web view load the actual live web page it does share local storage.
I say in most cases, because for some users it works as expected, but for a significant portion of users it isn't sharing local storage.
I think that the main difference between working and not is iOS version. iOS 17 seems to be able to share the local storage but iOS 18 does not. I can't find anything related in the release notes of iOS 18 versions.
There is nothing in the documentation for load(_:mimeType:characterEncodingName:baseURL:), or the header file, that explains anything specific about local storage and webarchive loading.
Does anyone know for sure how local storage is handled when a webarchive is loaded into a web view, and did something change with iOS 18 in regards to this?
Hello, ive been dealing with this glitch all year that hasnt happened last year. When I watch a video on public safari and then it exit the video it immediately takes me to the private tab but when I go on the private tab to watch videos and exit out it takes me back to the website just like normal. Its a pretty annoying bug and I watch all my videos in the private tab because of it

I have a web extension that I want to send data to, and receive a response containing modified data.
My understanding is that the native app is only contactable by a background script. How does a webpage contact the background script?
One answer is by adding a content script, which is able to communicate with the background script using browser.native.sendMessage(). Unfortunately this triggers a warning that "this extension can read and alter web pages".
I do not want to read and alter web pages, nor do I want users to be concerned about a permission the app doesn't need. I just want to receive data, and then return a response.
What API should I be using to achieve this?
What happens if Safari is uninstalled or disabled on iOS?
Will SFafariviewcontroller still work?
Kind regards
Hi Team,
I'm using the simple mailto functionality in the demo page and when I tested the same via Safari mailto functionality is not working.
However, the same feature is working as expected via Chrome.

I built a web application using the Apple Pay on the Web Interactive Demo with the Payment Request API, but encountered a few issues:
The initiated web Apple Pay interface shows a spinning circle at the bottom and cannot proceed with payment(Bottom display:正在处理). What could be causing this?
How to set up sandbox testing for payments?
How to asynchronously and synchronously retrieve payment results (backend code to fetch payment results)? The demo only shows frontend code using await response.complete("success"); for retrieving payment results

I have a UI application built with the Vue framework, using Vuetify for the UI components. There's a div with the class v-application--wrap, which is provided by Vuetify. This class internally includes the following style rule.
.v-application--wrap {
backface-visibility: hidden;
display: flex;
flex: 1 1 auto;
flex-direction: column;
max-width: 100%;
min-height: 100vh;
position: relative;
}
The pages were rendering correctly up to version 18.3, but after upgrading to version 18.4, we encountered layout issues related to height. Upon investigation, we discovered that the min-height property was no longer being interpreted or applied correctly. Replacing min-height with height resolved the issue, and the pages began loading as expected.
Any insights into why this behavior is occurring would be greatly appreciated.
Hello from Leipzig, Germany!
I noticed that when vertically scrolling in Safari 26 on my Mac, the content of the website I am currently working on is visible in the tab and URL bar with a liquid glass effect. I then looked at various other websites. Some websites have an opaque top bar. Some websites have a transparent top bar where content is visible when scrolling. On the Apple website, the top bar is opaque in light mode but transparent in dark mode. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to control this behavior. Has anyone found out more about this?
So I have web Augmented Reality apps hosted on AWS S3. It worked fine for a month, but as soon as the IOS 18.4 update was installed they stopped working. It works on every other device and IOS versions.
The URLs for the mentioned AR experiences:
digitechonline.in/solsprefimaginewt8/
digitechonline.in/solsprefimaginewt8p2/
digitechonline.in/orocarear/
These AR experiences get stuck on the loading screen and either reload or give an error. Ideally the camera is supposed to open.
I have tested it on Safari, Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers.
They were created through Unity webgl and hosted on AWS S3 bucket. Please provide a quick solution to this.
When i use adjust redirect:
https://app.adjust.com/xxxxxx?label=xxxxxx&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.testingmcafeesites.com%2Ftestcat_bu.html
It open 2 links:
https://Fwww.testingmcafeesites.com
then http://www.testingmcafeesites.com/testcat_bu.html
And in my app use redirect link for open a web page. But content in domain url like https://www.testingmcafeesites.com/ not be set. So it talke long time often 1 minute for finish request in first link.
It hapen only in ios 18 i tested in ios 17 and ios 16 it open one link only.

How can I send a POST request using PHP, and what certificates are required?
Currently, I have downloaded the following files on the backend: merchant_id.cer, apple_pay.cer, and a local cert.p12 file
This my code:
But,run error:cURL Error: unable to set private key file: '***/private.pem' type PEM%
We are currently implementing the payment flow, and for handling payment details — including card entry and validation — we are utilizing a WKWebView. The webview securely loads the payment provider’s page, ensuring sensitive information such as card numbers are entered and validated directly within the web context.
I’d like to clarify that this change has not yet been released to Production. As part of a feature enhancement to our existing payment flow, we are transitioning to a new payment vendor, SnapPay.
While trying to load the SnapPay URL embedded within an iFrame in our iOS app, I observed the following error in the Xcode console. While this error may be generic, I wanted to highlight it:
825a18 - [pageProxyID=7, webPageID=8, PID=67346] WebPageProxy::didFailLoadForFrame: frameID=24, isMainFrame=0, domain=NSURLErrorDomain, code=-999
Upon investigating, we compared the headers from our existing payment URL and SnapPay's URL, and found that SnapPay includes the following Content-Security-Policy (CSP) header:
Content-Security-Policy: frame-ancestors ...
"Content-Security-Policy" value="default-src 'self'; script-src 'self' https://hcaptcha.com https://.hcaptcha.com https://code.jquery.com https://www.gstatic.com https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.3.1.min.js https://test.lightbox.cardx.com/v1/lightbox.min.js https://www.ssa.gov/accessibility/andi/ https://c.evidon.com 'unsafe-inline' 'unsafe-eval'; style-src 'self' https://hcaptcha.com https://.hcaptcha.com https://fonts.googleapis.com/css https://stage.snappayglobal.com/Resource/ https://www.ssa.gov/accessibility/andi/andi.css 'unsafe-inline'; img-src 'self' data: https:; font-src 'self' *.googleapis.com *.gstatic.com ; connect-src 'self' https://demo1.cditechnology.com https:; form-action https://hcaptcha.com https: 'self' *.ipg-online.com secure.bluepay.com https://test.api.lightbox.cardx.com https://3ds-acs.test.modirum.com/ https://demo1.cditechnology.com/; frame-ancestors https://snappaydirect-perf.fiserv.com 'self' file: https: http; frame-src .snappayglobal.com 'self' https://hcaptcha.com https://.hcaptcha.com https: https://www.google.com .ipg-online.com secure.bluepay.com https://.cardconnect.com https://test.api.lightbox.cardx.com/ https://test.lightbox.cardx.com https://paywithcardx.com/payment/auth.cgi securepayments.cardpointe.com *.cardpointe.com https://3ds-acs.test.modirum.com/ https://www.yokohamatire.com http://uat1-txt.ad.portal.texas.gov https://uat1-txt.ad.portal.texas.gov "
After multiple working sessions with the SnapPay team, we were able to confirm that when they disable CSP or remove the frame-ancestors directive, the iFrame loads successfully within our app. However, SnapPay cannot change on their CSP.
To enable the iFrame to load in the iOS app, we added the following line of code:
webView.configuration.preferences.setValue(true, forKey: "allowFileAccessFromFileURLs").
This resolved the issue with loading the iFrame. Note: the file being loaded is a local .html file,.
Before submitting this update to the App Store, I’d like to confirm whether this usage of allowFileAccessFromFileURLs is acceptable for App Store review.
I wanted to confirm that with this change is there a security concern for WKWebview?
Hey everyone,
After installing iOS 26 beta, I started noticing unexpected behavior in our input event handlers.
Specifically, when users type into an field, event.target.value is always an empty string — but only when the JS file is loaded from a specific domain (e.g., t1.daumcdn.net). The exact same code works perfectly when hosted on other domains like t2.daumcdn.net or search1.daumcdn.net.
👉 I created a demo here:
🔗 https://codepen.io/bzasklcu-the-sans/pen/rNXogxL
The scripts loaded from each domain are 100% identical (apart from the top-level selector). Before iOS 26 beta, this worked fine.
I suspect this is related to ITP or some new cross-origin behavior in Safari, but I’d love to know if anyone else is running into this — or if someone knows a workaround.
Thanks!
In our web application some functionalities will allow user to upload multiple images (More than 25 images) in a single page
It is working find in all OS and browsers except iOS
When user try to upload images directly from camera there will be some overlaps, duplication, missing etc.
This is happening in both Safari and Chrome, we had a thorough check in our application and found every thing is working fine from our end
You can reproduce the issue by creating a web page which accept more than 50 images (we tried the same in ASP MVC Core & PHP) and showing the images in order
access the page through your iPhone using Safari or Chrome
Try to upload images directly from your camera, try sequential images (Image of a stop watch, or some thing like that) so that you can easily identify the order of files uploaded
and check the listing page of uploaded image (Try these steps multiple times)
You can find some images are duplicated and some are missing
