Only see "Personal team" although I've been added to my company team
Hello, I've been added as an "App Manager" to a team of my company to which the app I'm developing belongs. I've received the invite e-mail, done all required step. On the websites (Apple Developer and App Store Connect), everything to be fine: I properly appear as a member of the team, I see the application, I can edit it. However, when I log in in Xcode with that account, I only see the "Personal team". Therefore, I got the error "Failed Registering Bundle Identifier" (which makes sense since the app belongs to the team of my company, not to my Personal team). Since the Apple ID I used is my personal Apple ID (which happens to be my personal email address), and I already done some stuff with it, I feared that there was a problem with this particular Apple ID. Therefore, we tried to add me to the team with my professional email address. This time, we added this address as a Developer in the Team. But still the same problem: When I tried to log in in Xcode with that 2nd address, I still only see the Personal team. Note that professional email address has never been used on any Apple product before. I also tried to log out / log in multiple times, restarting XCode, and still the same problem. What are we missing? How can I be able to select the right team in Xcode?

Call Tracking with CallKit Works in Debug Mode but Not in Release (TestFlight) – iOS
I am working on an iOS app using Flutter that tracks outgoing calls using CallKit. The call tracking functionality works perfectly in Debug mode but does not work when the app is published to TestFlight. I have already added Background Modes (voip, audio, processing, fetch) in Info.plist. Xcode26 beta.2 build error
I am writing to report multiple issues encountered after updating to Xcode 26 Beta, which have significantly impacted my project's compilation and functionality. My project can run normally in Xcode16.3 version, Below are the specific problems, along with the steps I took to address them and the subsequent errors that arose: Symbol Not Found Error for _NSUserActivityTypeBrowsingWeb After updating to Xcode 26 Beta, my project failed to build with the error: "Symbol not found: _NSUserActivityTypeBrowsingWeb." To resolve this, I removed the MobileCoreServices framework from the Build Settings, as it appeared to be related. However, this led to a new error, indicating that this change introduced further complications. Clang++ Error: No Such File or Directory 'OpenGLES' Following the resolution of the first issue, I encountered a new error: "iOS clang++: error: no such file or directory: 'OpenGLES'." To address this, I added the OpenGLES.framework to the Build Phases. While this resolved the clang++ error, it triggered additional errors, suggesting that the underlying issue persists or new dependencies are conflicting. Recurring XIB File Compilation Errors My project uses XIB files, and every time I attempt to compile and run, Xcode reports errors related to different XIB files. Notably, when I open the reported XIB file, no errors are displayed within the Interface Builder. After saving or inspecting the file, the compilation error temporarily disappears, only for another XIB file to trigger the same issue in the next build. This creates a repetitive cycle. I have confirmed this is not a caching issue, as I clean the build cache (Product &gt; Clean Build Folder) before each run. If I skip cleaning the cache, the OpenGLES-related error (Issue 2) reappears, indicating potential interactions between these problems. These issues have made development with Xcode 26 Beta extremely challenging, as each attempted fix seems to introduce new errors, and the XIB issue creates a persistent loop. Avoiding Plugin Execution in a Linked Swift Package During Top-Level Package Builds
I am working on an iOS project using Xcode 16.0 that leverages multiple Swift packages. Among these, I have a Shared Package that contains reusable code and is linked to several top-level feature packages (e.g., VideoPlayer, VideoEditor, etc.). The Shared Package includes a Swift Package Manager plugin for linting code standards, which is designed to execute during its own build process. However, when building a top-level package (e.g., VideoPlayer), the Shared Package is also built as part of the dependency graph. During this process, the linting plugin in the Shared Package is executed unnecessarily, even though the intent is to only build the Shared Package's code. This behavior results in a significant increase in build times for the top-level packages, as the linting plugin is executed every time the Shared Package is built indirectly. Key Details: Xcode Version: 16.0 Swift Package Manager: Used for dependency management. Issue: The linting plugin in the Shared Package executes during the build of top-level packages, increasing build times. Expected Behaviour: The plugin should only execute when the Shared Package is built directly, not when it is built as a dependency of a top-level package. I would like to know if there is a way to configure the Shared Package or the Swift Package Manager to prevent the plugin from executing when the Shared Package is built as a dependency of a top-level package, while still allowing the plugin to run when the Shared Package is built directly. Any guidance, configuration tips, or best practices to address this issue would be greatly appreciated.

XCode Error Code: Failed to Save
I have a Mac Mini (M4) running macOS Sequoia 15.3.1. I very recently downloaded and installed the current version of XCode from the app store. I have not added any extensions - it's a vanilla, un-customized, un-enhanced installation. I have two user profiles (accounts) on my Mac: one Administrator and one Standard, each using a different apple account. I am using the Standard user account to learn XCode. When I attempt to set up a project, I get an error message when Xcode initially tries to save the (provided) project template file. The error states: "Failed to save Project2.xcodeproj. The backing file has been modified outside of XCode." I am using a NAS drive to store my project file. I have also tried saving it to the Desktop. It makes no difference to the error wherever the file is being saved. Similarly, I tried changing the Standard user account to an Administrator account to see if it was a privileges problem. Again, it made no difference to the error message. (So I changed the account back to a Standard user). I have tried googling the error but I only find references to problems related to extension/add-in products to XCode: none of which have I added to my XCode installation. I am attaching screenshots of the steps through the project creation process. Hopefully someone can tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem is. Thank you.

Xcode 16.3 C++ compiler makes binaries with corrupted memory.
I am creating an xcframework for a static library for iOS, but I am encountering a perplexing issue with Xcode 16.3. When I build an xcframework using C++ in one project and import it into another project, the application runs with corrupted memory. In the framework project, I use os_unfair_lock, but when attempting to lock, the app crashes due to a state error. This suggests that memory corruption is occurring. When the xcframework is built with Xcode 16.2, a proper binary is generated, and the app runs without any problems. Since I do not want to disclose the source code, I am trying to construct a minimal project that reproduces the issue, but so far I have not been successful. Fundamentally, I feel that the compiler in Xcode 16.3 cannot be trusted.

Xcode 16 „forgetting“ package in subfolder to root package
Xcode 16 seems to „forget“ a swift package within a subfolder of a root package after restart or shut-down. I have the following project structure, which also resembles the directory structure on disc: MyPackage - Package.swift - README.md - Sources - MyPackage - Tests - MyPackageTests - Tools - MyGenerator // <- after restart this folder is not visible in the Xcode project navigator - Package.swift - Sources - main.swift - Tests MyGenerator is a standalone package which is used during development of MyPackage to generate source code files for MyPackage based on text file input. Essentially an executable target script which I can run within its folder with: swift run MyGenerator someInputFile.txt MyPackage does NOT use MyGenerator as a dependency, nor do I want this tool listed as a dependency in MyPackage Package.swift file. Yet MyGenerator is part of the same Git repo, as it documents the changes to the tool on how to generate source code for MyPackage. Both packages are developed in tandem. MyGenerator itself defines dependencies in its Package.swift file, which are unrelated to the functionality of MyPackage. After restart of Xcode or even just a longer shut-down period the MyGenerator subfolder is not visible in the Xcode project navigator, the /Tools folder is empty. I have to manually add the sub package via Add files to "MyPackage" -> Move files to destination every time. How can I solve that Xcode remembers the sub package unter /Tools? App Icon Not Showing iSimulator or TestFlight (Assets.xcassets Fully Configured)
Hi everyone, I’ve been troubleshooting this for days — my app icon doesn’t show in the Simulator or TestFlight builds, despite what seems like a perfect setup. ✔️ What I’ve Already Verified: AppIcon.appiconset includes all required PNGs (20x20 up to 1024x1024) Contents.json is valid and complete (see attached) Asset catalog folder is named AppIcon Set correctly in Project > General > App Icon Source = "AppIcon" Cleaned build folder, restarted Xcode, and tried on multiple simulators Even used a fresh Xcode demo project — same result 🧪 Setup Details: Xcode version: [replace with your version, e.g. 15.3] iOS Deployment Target: [e.g. iOS 16.0] App Type: SwiftUI 🔍 Screenshots Attached: Assets.xcassets structure Project > General tab (App Icon section) Info.plist Contents.json Blank icon on simulator home screen ❓ Questions: Could this be a metadata or cache corruption? Is a modulemap file required when importing a static library objective-c framework? If not when is a modulemap required?
I am a bit confused. My understanding previously was that a modulemap was required in order to have a bridging header be generated. Now it has come to my attention that a modulemap is both a build input and something you can put in the Modules folder of the built product if you so choose. I have tried reading the clang modulemap documentation, but am really struggling to connect most of what it says to the problem at hand. In a project I am working on, the generation of the modulemap file is quite problematic. The framework imports C++ libraries and itself writes Objective-C++ wrappers for them. Currently, the modulemap file is both set as the Module Map File in "Build Settings" and presumably used when the Swift project later imports it. In this project the modulemap is a list of the objective-c++ header files then export * I am trying to understand what I would lose if I do one or both of two things: What happens if I dont set this module map file in the build settings for the objective-c++ framework? What happens if I dont have a modulemap involved whatsoever in this objective-c++ framework and then it is imported into Swift? And does any of this change if its compiled as a static vs dynamic library? What if I embed it vs not embed it? Because the build in the real project is so complicated its hard to isolate what is going on. So I built a smaller sample app. There is CFramework which has an objective-c++ class. There is SwiftProject which imports that framework and is purely Swift. It imports the module and uses it. I did not write a modulemap file, and the Swift project builds just fine. In the timeline it: Prepares packages Computes target dependency graph Builds static cache for iPhoneSimulator18.2sdk As near as I can tell even though the objective-c++ framework is not built with a modulemap in its build settings and there is not a modulemap included in the framework everything works. So then the modulemap file is useless? Perhaps it speeds things up but what step would theoretically be skippable?

Is SFSymbol Customization officially valid as a method for using SVG in embedded widgets (lock-screen & watchOS)? I use this in UnitedPizzaHelper but wonder whether this is the prime cause why all widgets of this app gets missing on iOS devices? This issue only happened on at least 2 device in the recent 12 months (they are all on iOS 18, and one of them is running iOS 18.5... Rebooting device won't work.), and we currently have no clue how to troubleshoot this. Update: The guy running iOS 18.5 told me that the widgets are now discoverable after waiting for minutes. Seems that this is a random issue.

Scope of GPT Training in Xcode 26
Hello, I watched WWDC 25 and saw that GPT will be integrated into Xcode. This raised a question for me. As far as I know, GPT models learn from user interactions. However, the GPT terms of use mention that business accounts are excluded from training. Does this also apply to the GPT integrated into Xcode 26? I couldn’t find any information about this in the Xcode 26 beta release notes or the Apple Developer Program License Agreement. If anyone knows where this is documented, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it. Also, if any Apple staff is reading this, I’d be grateful if you could clarify whether the same non-training policy applies within Xcode. Thank you!

Xcode Preview & Simulator test failed
I upgraded IOS to 15.5 yesterday and then my xcode failed to preview today. The error message I got is: Communication with Apple failed Your team has no devices from which to generate a provisioning profile. Connect a device to use or manually add device IDs in Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. https://developer.apple.com/account/ Any one knows how to fix it?

Best strategy to embed multiple dylibs into frameworks
Hi, I compiled Intel Open Image Denoise library for iOS, and obtained a bunch of dependent dylibs. I want to use these ones in a swift project (via bridging as this is C/C++) targeting the iPad. I understand that it is required to embed these dylibs into frameworks as iOS doesn't allow dylib. Is it necessary to generate one framework for each dylib? If so, how are dependencies between the libraries (and their frameworks) managed? Or, is it possible to generate only one framework embeding all the dependencies?
