Hi, experts,
I want to find Siri response window by bundle id and use it for checking or printing, here is my example code:
XCUIDevice.shared.siriService.activate(voiceRecognitionText: "call mom")
let siriApp = XCUIApplication(bundleIdentifier: "***")
// Print out text from siriApp,
// expecte print: "Sorry, I can't make a phone call with your iphone."
Where should I put into ***?
I tried "com.apple.SiriViewService", "com.apple.siri.velocity", "com.apple.springboard' but nothing work
Any suggestion appreciated, thanks!

I'm integrating Apollo GraphQL into a SwiftUI app and encountering the following error during a query execution:
result : failure(Apollo.MultipartResponseParsingInterceptor.ParsingError.cannotParseResponse)
failed : The response data could not be parsed.
The request hits the server, but the response fails to be parsed by Apollo. I'm using the default code generation setup and executing a simple query to fetch a list of countries.
Here’s a snippet of the function:
swift
Copy
Edit
private func fetchCountries() {
switch result {
case .success(let graphQLResult):
if let name = graphQLResult.data?.countries {
print(name)
} else if let errors = graphQLResult.errors {
print(errors)
}
case .failure(let error):
print("failed : (error.localizedDescription)")
}
}
This is run on an iPhone 16 Pro simulator with iOS 18.2. Any idea what's causing the parsing error or how I can inspect the raw response for debugging?
Thanks in advance!
Hello,
I’m trying to test a Xamarin.iOS application using the iOS 26 simulators in Mac Visual Studio, but I’m encountering an issue where the simulators are not appearing or accessible from Visual Studio.
Details:
macOS version: 15.6 (24G84)
Xcode version: 26 Beta 5
Visual Studio version: 17.6.0.80
Xamarin.iOS version: Xamarin.Forms (Version: 4.6.0.1180) using XAML for cross-platform support (iOS/Android)
The problem started after updating to iOS 26 SDK. I am unable to select or run the app on any iOS 26 simulator from Visual Studio.
Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there any configuration or workaround to enable iOS 26 simulators for Xamarin projects?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,
According to the official documentation, the macOS Virtualization Framework currently supports only macOS and Linux guest operating systems. I would like to know if there is any way—officially or through a supported workaround—to run Windows 11 as a guest using this framework.
Additionally, is there any indication or roadmap suggesting that support for Windows guests might be introduced in a future release, such as in macOS 16?
Any insights or official clarification would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
I want to create a dynamic library for my iOS project, which would be loaded at runtime.
In Xcode, there are templates available for creating a static/dynamic lib for MacOS. But under the iOS tab, there is only a "static library" template.
So, I used the "static library" template and in its build settings I changed the Mach-O type to "dynamic library".
Now after building it, I use the file command on the generated file and it tells me it is a dynamic lib.
But the generated file still has .a extension, which is usually for static libs.
I'm aware we can tell Xcode in build settings to change the .a extension to something else, say .dylib but this seems like a hacky way to create a dynamic library.
What is the correct way?
I am aware that standalone dylibs are not supported on iOS, and we need to wrap them in a framework.
For my use case, the framework will literally be a wrapper, it won't have any source files of its own. It should only contain the dynamic lib generated from some independent codebase. I am not sure how to place the dylib in the framework.
Hi,
From App analytics, we found that our app crashed from time to time on users' devices despite that we have tested it thoroughly on our devices. We are doubt that it's the reason why we can't retain them. But how can we get the crash reports for the app installed on user devices? We have no users' emails and can't ask them directly.
I observed the following problem:
A scientific code to perform Reverse Monte Carlo simulations (‘rmcxas’) compiled with the most up to date version of gcc/gfortran and Xcode including command line tools on Mac OS Sequoia 15.4 on a Macbook air with M4 processor generates the following problem upon starting it in a terminal:

Hi, I have a .NET MAUI app running on .NET 9. When I test locally in debug or release mode it works perfectly fine, but when testing from TestFlight it crashes almost immediately every time. I have sent the crash report to TestFlight and produced the symbolicated.crash file (attached), but I'm not sure it's helpful for understanding how to fix the issue.
If anyone can help me understand what the issue might be and any possible fixes it'd be very much appreciated.
I'm developing using Visual Studio 2022 paired to my Mac. I have distributed previously without issue, but now can't seem to, even after reverting recent code.

Hi guys!
I have gone through an absolute nightmare, trying to solve the issue that I am about to tell you about.
As the title says, I am getting the error:
Library '/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/lib/clang/17/lib/darwin/libclang_rt.profile_driverkit.a' not found
I trimmed off part of that directory as I did not want to reveal that information about my computer.
From what I can tell, the file in question is no longer even a part of Xcode. I have searched, it is not on my computer anywhere.
I have also downloaded older versions of Xcode to search with it. None of them have it.
I have literally tried everything under the Son to solve this issue.
I have been stuck on it for two days.
I have even resorted to doing something I hate, which is asking for ChatGPT to assist me with solving the issue. No help there.
I am at my wits end. So I am coming to you guys, have you seen this error?
Any ideas at all? The odds are pretty good whatever you recommend I have probably already tried 200 times over. But I am still open to hearing anything.
Have any of you had this error? Any ideas?
I am on the latest version of macOS.
The project is for a macOS app.
M4 Mac mini.
Any additional information I can provide, that will be helpful?
At this point, I am leaning more towards this being a bug with Xcode than anything.
I'm trying to compile a simple hello world C++ program on my MacBook Pro. I have a M3 Pro (Nov 2023) running Sequoia 15.6. The program is:

int main() {
std::cout << "Hello World!";
return 0;
}
The error I get is:

I’ve developed a virtual machine manager application using the macOS Virtualization framework. The application currently supports both NAT and bridged networking configurations.
I’m now looking to implement host-only networking, where the guest VM can communicate with the host but not with external networks. Is this networking mode supported by the Virtualization framework, and if so, what is the recommended approach to set it up?
Additionally, I would like to implement port forwarding from the host to the guest (e.g., redirecting traffic from a specific port on the host to a port on the guest). Is there a way to configure port forwarding using the built-in APIs of the Virtualization framework, or would this require a custom networking solution?
Any guidance or best practices for implementing these features within the constraints of the framework would be greatly appreciated.
Any time I attempt to download the latest beta of macOS 26, Safari stops the download at Zero KB, with no indication of why.
I'm able to download OS 26 beta 8 for the other platforms absolutely fine, just not macOS. Pressing the little orange "reload" button, just results in another copy of the same zero KB file bundle on the file system.
Can anyone help please?
My application always crashes at the same position when I open it on my iPad Air. It doesn't crash in debug mode which makes it very difficult for me to find the issue.

Hi everyone,
after enabling CloudKit in my project, my app started showing conflicts between MusicKit and CloudKit entitlements — and now Xcode is failing to generate the provisioning profile entirely.
Current issue (Signing / Provisioning Profile Failure)
Xcode shows this error:
“Provisioning profile ‘iOS Team Provisioning Profile: team8.groovefy.dev’ doesn’t include the entitlements:
com.apple.developer.media-library,
com.apple.developer.music-user-token,
com.apple.developer.musickit,
com.apple.developer.playable-content,
com.apple.security.exception.mach-lookup.global-name”
Automatic signing fails, and Xcode cannot create or update the provisioning profile.
This started right after CloudKit was enabled in the project.
Context
Before enabling CloudKit, MusicKit worked normally, including Apple Music authentication and playlist creation.
After activating CloudKit capabilities:
MusicKit stopped generating the Apple Music user token
Playlist creation broke
Now the provisioning profile cannot be rebuilt because the required MusicKit-related entitlements are no longer included
Even after removing CloudKit entirely, the issue persists — as if the App ID or entitlements on the server side became inconsistent or corrupted.
I already tried:
Recreating App Identifier
Recreating provisioning profiles
Resetting capabilities
Cleaning and reinitializing the Xcode project settings
But Xcode still refuses to generate a valid provisioning profile that includes the MusicKit entitlements.
Summary
Enabling CloudKit caused MusicKit entitlements to collide, and now the provisioning profile no longer includes the required MusicKit entitlements — preventing the app from signing, running, or creating playlists.
If anyone has faced this type of entitlements/provisioning corruption or knows how to reset the App ID entitlements on Apple’s side, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I am experiencing crash on TopShelf and I checked all the crashlogs, but I don't know how to interpret it.
I see only addresses in the trace logs, so it's really hard to understand what's going on. Is there a way how to symbolicate frames 5 - 17?
Does anybody have an idea, what can be wrong?
Thanks in advance.

Hello, I'm not a developer. I have an app in the App Store and an Apple Developer account. I have two questions: 1. I'm trying to find out exactly where the source code of my app is located - I can't. It should be in Xcode. There is only Xcode cloud in my account, which is inactive. 2. I want to find out what programming language my app is written in. How do I do this?

Calling dlopen then dlclose causes an increase in the amount of memory used by the program. If I create a loop that calls dlopen / dlclose repeatedly on the same dynamic library, memory usage increases continuously. Is this a bug, or am I using dlopen / dlclose incorrectly?
I can reproduce this by modifying the sample code in the Apple Developer docs Creating Dynamic Libraries. If I modify Runtime.c, changing the line void *lib_handle = dlopen(lib_name, RTLD_NOW); to add the infinite loop, as below:
void *lib_handle = dlopen(lib_name, RTLD_NOW);
for (int ii = 0; ; ++ii) {
printf("loop %i\n", ii);
int close_err = dlclose(lib_handle);
printf("close error: %i\n", close_err);
printf("dlopen(%s, RTLD_NOW)\n", lib_name);
lib_handle = dlopen(lib_name, RTLD_NOW);
}
then opening and closing the dynamic library will succeed, but memory usage (as reported by top) will rapidly increase.
I'm running on x86_64 macOS 13.6.6. Full code for the modified Runtime.c is attached, the rest of the code is available in the Apple Developer docs.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks,
Chris
Runtime.c
When you have a mac, creating xcprivacy is pretty straightforward for your app, you simply use xcode, then select the sdks and target them and your privacy manifest is ready.
In the other hand, when you are using CI/CD solutions you might not use xcode direclty.
In that instance and if you are coding in flutter, you need to create your privacy manifest by hand.
I would like guidance how to write that file, I would it for a given third party SDK and where to put that file in the flutter project (just to be sure)
For example we choose the most important third party SDK manifest: FUTTER framework.
I keep getting errors about it for my app, got alot of builds get the INVALID BINARY error because of that, and my mails indicating me a problem with the manifest.
Please show me the source code of the manifest privacy for a project where a third party SDK is present (in particular: flutter sdk)
Thanks
Hi,
I keep getting an error message when I try to publish my App made with Rork into Apple IOS.
Message reads
"Submission failed: Submission failed. Contact support. Don’t dump it on Rork — it won’t fix this. We still need a human."
Any help with this would be appreciated.
I am using Microsoft edge and have also used Google Chrome.
