Hello,
Im new to Xcode, ive been taking some classes and watching YouTube videos as well as using AI. Im having an issue I cannot find a video on, and AI just keeps screwing up my layout and sizing.
Here is the issue, I have a Custom Made Image for my Sign In button, for my log in page on Xcode. The issue being that I can barely see the button and when I go to adjust the size the whole layout gets screwed up. My Logo Image (supposed to take up the top 50% of the screen) takes over the whole Botton of the screen and I loose my username and password Text threads and images. I guess my question is, is this an issue with the size of image ive uploaded or is this an issue with my code? I changed the size of the Image I created in Canva to 900pixles for the width and 300pixals for the height and that did absolutely nothing to my image in Xcode.
Below is the Button and Create Account section in my code that seems to be having issues. Ppppplease help me.

I would like to modify the content of a published LocationNode upon been clicked by the user. But unfortunately:
func hitTest(_ point: CGPoint, options: [SCNHitTestOption : Any]? = nil) -> [SCNHitTestResult]
returns an SCNNode array from which it is impossible to retrieve the original LocationNode being inserted in order to be able to modify it.
Of course the solution would be to either insert the SCNNode corresponding to the inserted LocationNode in a custom class or conversely insert the identifier of the custom object as a tag of the LocationNode, in order to solve the issue. But both options seem impossible to implement.
May anyone help me?
I couldn't help noticing that the Maps and Find My apps make extensive use of "sheets stacked on top of each other" to represent its navigation hierarchy, with a "new content comes in from the bottom" orientation instead of a navigation stack with
"new content comes in from the right side" oriented transitions.
I'm interested in this topic because I have a similar navigation-hierarchy-over-a-map case in my app (with a custom map view though) and I'm torn back and forth between the approach of replicating the "stacked sheets" vs. putting a navigation stack in a sheet, esp. with the navstack approach being way more attainable with the iOS 26 glass design.
I couldn't find any guidance for this kind of UI in the Human Interface Guidelines; I'm leaning towards the navstack-approach for my app; but in terms of the behavior of the SwiftUI container views in this scenario it seems a little bit of an uphill path.
Any thoughts on what pattern should be preferred for presenting a deep navigational hierarchy on top of a map-like view?
Hello All,
I used to own an app named LOLIIPOP, and am in the process of transferring it to my new apple account.
I am having two problems....
How do I transfer the source code and binary to my new apple account?
My developers have an old code, so I need to send them the LAST code they uploaded to the App Store.
How do I do that as well???
Please any help!!!
Thanks,
Mr. LM
Hi,
It would be sure if Apple creates a Fgima plug in to convert designs to SwiftUI, no one can do it like Apple and it would be SUPER and super time saving !

Hi Everyone. Can you help me with my settings icon design. I'm trying to create a circular settings button using Menu. My code here:
struct MenuView: View {
var body: some View {
Menu {
Text("Hello")
Text("How are you")
} label: {
Image(systemName: "gearshape.fill")
.clipShape(Circle())
}
.clipShape(Circle())
.padding(.top, 10)
.padding(.leading, 20)
}
}
You can see my try, this one looks wrong.
It should be like this:
Just Circle with setting image inside. Thank you an advance 😭🙏🛐

Hi, I just had V1.0 of my app approved on the App Store and I immediately noticed that the icon preview is broken.
It looks good in Xcode, on-device and also in the App Store link preview.
The icon was built with Icon Composer.
Here's the difference (left is App store):
Has anyone encountered the same issue and found a solution?
I noticed a discrepancy between the Material specifications for tvOS on the Developer page and the naming in the Design Resources (Sketch files). Which one should we consider authoritative?

hi all,
i have dating app, approved in google store, and working website
but i cant get approval from apple review team
( Guideline 4.3(b) - Design - Spam)
can someone help/suggest how to solve it
our app has 2000 clients already
I have been battling the new Icon Composer app for 2 days trying to build an app icon. However, I cannot get it to import any files. I have used the Apple provided App Icon Template. I have exported my layers to .svg and when I open the finder, everything is disabled. I can't find help for this anywhere. I am on Sequoia on my Mac and not sure how to design this app icon without access to the composer.
🔍 Context
The built-in screenshot editor in iOS and iPadOS (Markup tool) only allows users to crop images using rectangular frames. While this is sufficient for basic editing, it lacks flexibility for those who wish to tailor the screenshot to the aesthetics of iOS itself — which relies heavily on rounded shapes and smooth UI elements.
⸻
🚫 Current Limitation
• After taking a screenshot and opening it in Markup, users can only crop in rectangular or square formats.
• No option is available to apply rounded corners to the crop.
• As a result, many users are forced to use third-party apps just to achieve a basic rounded-edge crop, which feels unnecessary for such a common need.
⸻
✅ Proposed Solution
Add a rounded corner cropping feature to the screenshot editor.
This could be implemented as:
• A toggle to activate “Rounded Crop”.
• A radius slider (or predefined corner radius presets).
• Optional: an export option to save the result with transparent background, useful for designers and mockups.
⸻
🎯 Why it matters
• Aligns better with the iOS design language (cards, notifications, widgets, etc.).
• Saves time for users who currently have to rely on external editing apps.
• Greatly improves the presentation of screenshots for social media, UI/UX mockups, blogs, and professional use cases.
• Useful across many professions: developers, designers, content creators, educators, marketers.
⸻
📷 Visual Example
Here’s a mockup to illustrate the proposed feature:

⸻
💡 Bonus Suggestion
Allow exporting with a transparent background when cropping screenshots — especially useful for rounded crops or mockups placed on colored backgrounds.
Hi there. I want to use Adobe XD for designing and prototyping apps, and I would like to get the UIKit design resources working. I downloaded it and tried to open it with Adobe XD, but it threw this error:
There was an error opening the file Apple iOS 26 UI Kit.sketch
(Error code: 115)
I really prefer to use the UIKit in Adobe XD rather than paying for Figma or Sketch. Thanks.
Apple Design Resources
Hi,
I was trying to use macOS-Sequoia-Production-Templates in Sketch format and when I try to export png icon file of the document template, it always includes grey nontransparent background which I am unable to delete. In contrast, exporting png app icon file from another template has transparent background and exports well.
Is it something wrong with the document icon production template? How can I export document png icon file with transparent background??
Thanks

Feedback for iPhone and iPad – Display Technology
Dear Apple Team,
Currently, the mainstream display technology used in iPhone and iPad is OLED. However, OLED panels produce significant PWM flickering, which strongly irritates the human eye. Many users, especially in China, experience eye strain, tearing, and discomfort after using OLED devices for a period of time.
There is a large group of users here who are highly sensitive to screen flicker and therefore cannot use OLED-based devices at all. What they truly need is an eye-friendly device with either LCD or flicker-free Mini-LED display technology.
I sincerely recommend that Apple consider offering iPhone and iPad models with LCD or Mini-LED panels. Such displays could provide better eye comfort, no flicker, and a healthier experience. Currently, almost no smartphone manufacturers in China provide such options, and even if they do, their devices often come with outdated chipsets and cannot be used as a reliable daily driver.
This presents a valuable opportunity for Apple: by addressing this demand, Apple could attract a unique customer base, increase sales, and even justify a slightly higher price, as many customers would be willing to pay more for the sake of their eye health. In the Chinese market, a truly flicker-free iPhone or iPad would be incredibly rare and highly desired.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I truly hope Apple will take this into account.
When I first tried to create a custom SF Symbol using Affinity Designer, I encountered difficulties because of two problems which have cumulated:
SVG files created by Affinity Designer cannot be directly imported into the SF Symbols app because Affinity Designer totally recreates the content of tag <g id="Notes">, making so the file incompatible for later import into the SF Symbols app. So I had to manually fix that tag via a text editor in order to make the file compatible with the SF Symbols app.
Because I was so focused on fixing manually the SVG file, I did not see that the actual content of my SVG file did not follow all Apple recommendations. As a consequence, I have posted this question on the forum:
Struggling creating a custom SF Symbol: The provided variants are not interpolatable
Finally I have found a way to create an SVG file compatible with SF Symbols using Affinity Designer, meeting the Apple recommendations, and at last perfectly suitable for further use in Xcode.
You will find the solution in my reply to this post below which is actually a quasi copy/paste of my final own reply to my original post.
